Alpha & Omega Child Care & Learning Center Reviews
I really like this school, when i first moved to Savannah, GA, my son went to pre-K and I was very proud of the outcome. The staff is very helpful and caring.
It has not gotten better in 2012. My child has some developmental delays and was compared to other children younger than him to his face. I faced a couple director's conferences due to his bathroom accidents. My child's condition is not uncommon and is within a reasonable age group. Some children have accidents until they are in elementary school. He was sent home for days at a time while I tried to explain to them that his condition was not going to get better in tow days or even a week. I was told that I would be worked with but all I heard were complaints and continued requests to come pick up my child after an accident even though all they needed to do was change him. I concluded that this center was not willing to accomodate a child with special needs and in a sense he was pushed out of the child care center.
Alpha & Omega is an excellent learning facility. My oldest daughter attended the school’s first Pre-K class. Because of the caring and supportive staff, my daughter received an outstanding early education. Just this past school year (2010-2011), my youngest daughter was enrolled in Alpha & Omega’s three year old program. The school has an open door policy, and I am pleased with the education my daughter received.
Very disappointed. Does not have a open door policy even though they say they do. Just try going by to see your kids with out calling first. Aren't consistent with background checks(stated by a state investigation). Doors are left open in back of building.
The maintance person watches the classrooms when the teacher needs to take a student to the bathroom located down the hall. The rooms don't have there own bathrooms.
