After jumping through hoops to get into the local charter school we experienced what could only be called "a parents worst nightmare." Belmont Hills was our local school, and the only choice for a transfer.  I'm ashamed to say that we initially looked past the school b/c we were impressed by a more stringent curriculum.  Curriculum can't compare to a loving, encouraging environment.  Belmont Hills is a wonderful school built on the principles of a caring and involved staff.  We are impressed by the level of commitment by both the principal and the teachers, the unique learning tools used and the return to "a love of learning" in our daughter which should always be the primary objective with young children.

This school lacks alot.  Large Hispanic population that does not speak Elnglish, so large gatherings take extra time trying to have someone translate into Spanish.  There does not seem to be enough want from the teachers and staff to assist you.  Sad but true.
