In 2010, the Henry County School District spent $8,288 per student. In 2010 the district spent 66% on instruction, 29% on support services, and 4% on other services.
My son broke both of his wrists last year and missed alot of school. They sent a teacher to our home to help him with his work and all she did was drop it off and leave, We were not able to do much help because we both worked. My son has to repeat the same year over again.
I have been very disappointed with the lack of communication at Woodland High School. Communication is two ways. My son has not learned anything from his teachers. Most of his teachers show that they do not care about the students at all.
Woodland High School has tried and almost succeeded to ruin my life about three times. If your child has talent, good looks, or any spirit whatsoever, sending them to this school is the worst choice you will ever make. There is no teacher/administrative parent communication. You will be discriminated against no matter what color or race you are, by the staff. There's no room to walk in the halls. There are few genuinely good teachers.
