Walnut Grove Elementary School
Carilyn Bendleton: WGES has the most unprofessional teaching staff of any school in the county. One teacher in particular has missed a minimum of 30 days each year for the last 4 years. She also makes false accusations and outright lies about her co-workers. She is an instigator and trouble maker. She also speaks badly of her students and their parents. Before she, and her co-conspiritors, were placed in different grade levels/teaching assignments, they stood out in the halls and gossiped about the staff, administration, students, and their parents. Numerous parents have complained about her excessive absences, and do not want subsequent siblings placed in her classroom. With the budget cuts in GCPS, maybe they can save some money by relieving her from her duties. She obviously does not value her job, or the children she works with.
