Friendly staff, but bullying is a huge issue
I went to this school from 2008-2012 (2nd through 5th) Most of the teachers weren't THAT bad, but there are some major issues there. For instance bullying or fighting would happen and someone would try to get help from an adult and they would literally do NOTHING and just say "if it happens again, tell me." However, if someone did go back, they still wouldn't do anything about it. On a positive note, some teachers were lots of fun. For 5th grade, I had Mr. Laeha (I'm not sure if he still teaches 5th grade or not) in his class, we did this thing everyday. We all had "jobs" and elected two bankers. Bankers would choose the pay (fake money) for each job, including their own. Every 2 weeks or so, people would get payed with fake money for our jobs. We were also able to get "business licenses" and once a quarter we could "sell" things that we make to other class mates. Also, once a quarter, we could donate things that would be auctioned off to us, so there was actually a point to the fake money. I had heard from my friends and their siblings that the kindergarten and 1st grade teachers were very strict, however I don't know for myself. Most of the staff is very friendly, however, as I said before, bullying was a big issue they were not helpful with. It got so bad my parents almost pulled me out of the school several times to put me in the k12 online classes.
