What standardized tests? IPA does not provide SATs until the 3rd grade. This school still hasn't gotten their act together. For the first few years they've been excused as a new school that was still working out their kinks. This was the reason for everything that didn't make sense, and everything that made students & parents unhappy. Well they are nearing a decade, and their academics are below what you'd expect from a private school. Especially at $14,000 a year. The lower grade levels do nothing but color and play. When I asked my kid what they did in Science, I was told they colored the covers of their workbook. One of the required school supply was a flash drive for Computer Lab. When I got the flash drive back at the end of the year, there was nothing but a few pictures of my kid on it. Pictures! Movies in Music class, coloring on plain pieces of paper using crayons in Art.. need I say more? IPA is more like a Preschool than a private school. Don't send your children here. You're better off sending them to a public school where they'll actually learn a thing or two compared to what they'll get at IPA. Use your $14,000 that you would've spent at IPA and hire yourself a tutor.

This school has a dynamic learning environment, solid teachers and a focus on mutual respect.  The school is working to become an IB World School; one of the few in the country.   The small school environment and smaller class size are a plus.  A negative is there are only a few foreign languages offered and students do not always get their choice of classes.  Overall, students seems to be fairing well on national standardized tests; some excelling with the scores; the first two senior graduating classes have been accepted into top colleges across the country.
