Island School

Great school, and money well invested. My two kids, loved school eveyday. Teaching staff is dedicated and make learning fun. Excellent school counselor that is extremely helpful. Athletic program is growing, and awesome. Healthy lunches and a rigorous academic program. Did I say, TEACHERS are awesome, students are hardworking. Every school setting, there are a few challenges but I think is dealt with professionally. Costs money, but worth it.

My kids love Island School. I have a daughter that is in high school and one is off to college. The teachers are dedicated, and helpful.  They also have a wonderful school counselor, Joan Shaw who does an excellent job of counseling students from early on.  Curriculum is intense, expectations are high and faculty top notch. They also have an awesome athletic director, world known Hawaiian Studies Kumu, excellent Chorus program, and a dedicated staff.
