Kaala Elementary School

My son was a struggling second grader at an excellent school.  Although his previous school was excellent, they did not know how to teach struggling readers.  So I brought him to Ka`ala.  When he entered, he did not know any of the math that they were instructing on.  He had never seen it before at his previous school.  Ka'ala's current reading and math programs are excellent.  He met on his HSA assessment last year in both reading and math, and I know that had I left him at his old school he probably would have been qualified for SPED or something.  Not because he was/is, but because their instruction was not able to meet his need.  I have no regrets about bringing my son here.

Kaala Elementary School is an excellent school.  The teacher who mentioned that Kaala is not a happy place to be... True, the admin may make some interesting choices, but admin can't make everyone happy, especially negative teachers. Anyway, my kids scores have gone up, and they look forward to going to school everyday. It's teachers who care about the kids and have positive attitudes who make the school an excellent school, not teachers like the one who complained in their review.
