Makaha Elementary School

Carmella Rosa: I think that Makaha Elementary School is a very good school. I have 4 girls and every single one of them attended this school. I still have one more child that is in the third grade. The school has taught my girls very good reading skills. Each and everyone of my children read above their grade level. Which is fantastic. Math skills are good. They also learn about the farm. How to plant, take care, harvest and even cook the vegetables that they planted. Really gives them a sense of pride. They have wonderful teachers who actually cares about the students. Great Box Top program from the school. If I was given the choice as to which elementary school I would like to send my children to, it would always be Makaha Elementary. The only fall back is that I feel they should have a music/chorus class. It is important that children of the future learn about music as well as instruments. Great extra curriculumn activity. But all in all the school is a very great school.
