St Joseph School Reviews
Great school. St. Joseph Waipahu is a terrific value. The teachers and staff care deeply about the children. I am very surprised to learn that another parent thinks this school is out for money. That can't be farther from the truth. Qualified teachers and staff can't work for free. My message to the other reviewer is that you should lose your "entitlement" attitude. Things cost a ton of money in Hawaii. This school is a great value.
the school is only out for your money. there are numerous fund raising throughout the year; one of which is mandatory. have not seen it go towards decreasing the tuition. tuition has actuall increased instead!the will also not provide refunds once you have paid something accidently. on the upside, the teachers and staff appear to be helpful when approached. i just wish they would not be so money hungry. they need to remember that many people are struggling to keep their children in private schools and have a good education. it would be helpful if the funds collected would go towards decreasing the tuition.
i think this school is only out for your money and not too concerend about the child's education unlike other catholic schools i have been to. numerous fundraising throughout the year; one of which is mandatory. no refunds will be provided either. on the upside, there are many teachers who are helpful when approached. I just think the upper management are plain greedy!
