Lowell Scott Middle School Reviews
Bad experience for daughter and family

Between May 2009 - May 2012 my wife and I contacted the school and/district regarding a bullying incident 13 times, where two of our daughters friends (so she thought at the time) got upset over a boy and retaliated by hanging a DIRTY KOTEX on the outside of her locker which several students witnessed. FACT: The school never contacted us about the incident (our daughter told us later that she was afraid to disclose this to us because she didn't want to get them in trouble/be labeled a snitch). First I need to say how disappointed we were that Lowell Scott Facility failed to protect our daughter. My daughter and her friend by her side, filed a report that both the counselor and Principle told us occasions they had a copy of the report (recorded phone call). Also, her friend witnessed the event. In a written response from the District Northern Region Director denying the report was taken or that the gym teacher told me in person she caught the two girls in the locker room in 'off hours".). If you only new the whole story (Dr., counseling, meds, etc.) The most troubling of all was the blatant denial and erogenous displayed by the District Northern Region Director and the loss of my daughters joy, smile...Just recently my daughter confronted one of the two girls who was very remorseful and apologetic. Confirmed several pieces of the story that the District flat out denied and said in a letter to me our daughter had other issues and they hoped the best for her. Confronting the other girl. Needs to work up the courage. These are the folks that where required by law to contact the parents and PROTECT my daughter... shame on all of you.
Even though she promised to contact me the last week of the school year with an update on there investigation and failed to follow through, the school president admitted the incident occurred and asked us almost two years later what she could do for our daughter. Looks like the district convinced ALL to develop short term memory loss... In closing, my wife was cleaning out our shed and found a copy of the incident report that the councilor gave her. Oops..
