Belleville High School-East Reviews
We have been very pleased
We have had two children in the honors program at Belleville East High School. I have been very impressed with the dedication of the teachers, counselors and staff. With only one exception in 5 consecutive years, every faculty member I have met has been passionate about their subject, their students, and the school. The results speak for themselves: my oldest child scored very well on the ACT, earned a National Merit Scholarship (emphasis on NATIONAL competition, here), and was accepted into the Engineering programs of all 5 highly-ranked universities to which he applied, with some offering part- to full-tuition scholarships. My child was constantly challenged, participated in a wealth of enrichment activities (band, sports, clubs, etc.), was involved in many community service projects, enjoyed the diversity of the student body, and was prepared very well for college. Now in one of the top 5 engineering programs in the country, he is earning all A's and B's. For reasons I cannot understand, other than just ignorance about everything the school has to offer, Belleville East High School seems to get a bad rap. I am here to attest that we have had a great experience for five consecutive years, with both of my children.
