Emge Junior High School Reviews
A School Working Hard with Limited Resources
I had two children go to this school, one needed special education services and one was in the gifted program. So I saw both sides.
This district serves a mostly blue-collar community with a sprinkling of military families and professionals who commute to nearby St. Louis. This is a school district that, like many in Illinois, is not getting promised state funding. So it's not a wealthy district.
The committed parent and grandparent volunteers keep this district going. They donate their time and energies to help make sure the district can provide a quality education to the students using the district's limited financial resources.
My children got a solid education in a multi-cultural environment. They both did very well when they got to high school
