Benton Grade School K-4 Reviews
For a low income school it does very well. I would like to see more in the arts.
I think Benton Grade School does very well with what they have. I have been there several times and find the teachers and staff very caring and knowledgeable. Our area has a rather high rate of low income families and all of the problems that go with it. Our schools wind up having to parent as well as teach. I would like to see a little more done with the arts. It is shown that children who participate in music and the arts show a higher level in math skills, and tend to be the smarter kids. It is called the Mozart effect.
Unless it has changed since my child was a student Benton Grade School, I have never, in my life been around teachers who cared less, who encouraged bullying, who were abusive to the students, and who did nothing to help special education kids.
The benton grade school has always needed inprovement.
Very impressive. Goes to show what can be achieved even in a less affluent school system
