To the person who wrote the above response, I agree. I'll even go one further. This school is nothing more than a way for greedy men and women to make a huge payday. And the way they go about it, I have to admit, is actually genius. So, you have a kid with one or more learning disabilities. He is doing terrible in his home district because, lets face it, public schools in this country are so over populated that for an instructor to actually give 1 on 1 instruction to any student would be more of an act of god then anything else. The teenager is upset, feels terrible, and just can't seem to make it work. Then along comes Brehm. They tell you that they can give you the skills to cope, to make yourself do the best. They say college is in your future, and all it takes is a few years at Brehm. What would anyone say? Yes. But its a lie. What they do is make you dependent on their system, on there coping skills. Skills that are nice in theory but don't even come remotely close to solving real life situations. They take away everything. Privacy, relationships aren't aloud, Being left alone for ten minutes isn't aloud. Socializing with the opposite sex is frowned upon. And if you try to change things, try to be heard, they punish you. They take away your privileges. They take away being a teenager. And in some cases, me included, they use medication to control your actions. And before anyone says it was my parents choice, bare in mind I was hundreds of miles away and they had some doctor on the phone promising he knew what he was doing, even though every doctor I've talked to since thinks his medical licence should be revoked.Problem with that is how is a parent supposed to make an informed consent to a treatment without a PhD and from 500 miles away? But I digress. You see, once you become dependent on this system, they know that you won't leave. You need them. Where else would you go and use this useless skills they tough you? Ah. And that's where we have our answer. They send you to O.P.T.I.O.N.S. The Brehm program, only now its  for college students. Not only have they gotten 4 years out of you (assuming you started as a freshmen in High School) they want another 4 years from you too. And making a prophet the whole time. 56 grand a year when I went to Brehm. O.P.T.I.O.N.S. was about twice that, if I remember correctly. So, if you think Brehm is right for your child, think really hard. Don't let the past repeat its self. They will destroy him. In some way or another.

Unfortunately as a former student of the school I find it very difficult to recommend it to anyone. Its tuition is ridiculous and overpriced, they state that it is an individualized education but in all reality it is not. The punishment for wrong done at the school is so over the top ridiculous. They focus more on cyber bullying as a problem as opposed to normal interactions between other students. Most negative going ons at the school are hushed up in order to help maintain the schools squeaky clean status. The structure is stifling, the most well behaved students will come out hating any form of organization and authority due to a year stay there. Overall I would not recommend the school to anyone lest' they want there child to return worse than before.
