It's not the best, it's not the worst. In the end, it's how you take advantage of the education. Being in the IB motivated me to go to college and be the best that I can be.

I think Amundsen is a very good school.  School is what students make it.  Very few students that attend classes and join extra-curricular activities and don't hang outside the building normally don't have any problems at Amundsen.

I had several children, grand-children, and friend's children who attend Amundsen and they enjoyed going to school and graduated and are now working or in College.

Amundsen has some of the best educators I have ever met.

I love Amundsen

I attended Amundsen H.S. the only reason I graduated high school and am currently writing this review from my college dorm room is because my parents yanked me out halfway through junior year and put me in school outside the city.

Drugs, alcohol, gangs, violence.

It's bad.

Don't even do it.

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
