Audubon Elementary School Reviews
This school is wonderful. Their goal is to help every child improve and grow year over year. It's a math & science (and technology) magnet cluster school with a great arts integration program (from Redmoon Theater). The school's "value added" test scores were second highest in the district. The value added score measures the improvement of each student - not just how many are over a certain arbitrarily set standard. I mean, of course a gifted school is going to have high scores! What's truly notable is when a neighborhood school without a gifted program (which skews the whole school's scores upward) is doing really well at helping every single child achieve and thrive. I think Audubon and Burley are excellent examples of this.
