deitelbaum: Courtenay Language Arts Center is one of the most up and coming elementary schools in the Chicago area, according to Chicago Magazine! However, I have taught there as a speech pathologist for the past 21 years, and I don't need to read Chicago magazine to know this. Courtenay is an ethnically diverse school, where the students speak numerouse different languages, and come from a wide variety of countries. The staff is wonderful, the administration is excellent, and the parents are the best. Courtenay serves Pre-K through 8th grade, and offers a multitude of different programs, both academic and non-academic. It's a gem of a school: although it is small, it has a large heart.

Ellen Lunz: Courtenay Language Arts Center is a gem of a school,. located on the North side of Chicago. I have worked there for 21 years, and it's an excellent school for many different reasons. Its small, focussed, and the staff and administration get along very well. The kids are also a wonderful mix of diverse nationalities, and they speak numerous different languages. Courtenay services regular as well as special education students form ages 3 to 13. Also, Courtenay offers several extracurricular activities. A wide range of up-to-date technological activities are also available to Courtenay students.

Mary E: The principal and staff clearly care about the kids and communicate with us regularly. It is a small school, which we like it helps keeping our kids getting the help they need to succeed in there education. We have a great school to prepare our kids for the future.

Lovie Williams: This school is wonderful. My daughter is in there special education program. She learned how to read with in the first week of being there. Her teacher is so good with the children in her class. She gives them so much attention indivdually. they have so many aids there all over the school. I feel so safe that no one can just come inside the school and pick up your child.
