John: My brother teaches at this elementary school. I have yet to visit, but look forward to doing so-----for I have heard nothing but positive things about this turn-around institution and program. The faculty and staff are motivated, energetic, and driven. The principal has been fundamental in driving results and bringing attention to the school's developments, improvements, and success. I even learned that the mayor of Chicago and educational board members visited and had a meeting at the school today! I cannot wait to follow and learn more about Howe Elementary's tremendous growth and the achievements of its students!

my school is amazing, so many improvements have been made in numerous ways.the teachers and staff is oustanding.i mean its like there is a better feeling surrounding and a higher quality education. you'd have to come to the school to whitness the excellence for yourself-though i do have to say theres nothing like actually taking part in the excellence

Maya: I graduated from Howe in 1990 and have fond memoies of this school. The teachers prepared me for High School & college. I pass the school everyday going to work unfortunately have not seen any physical improvements on the outside of the school but grateful for its presence in the Austin community!
