Rena' Watson: My granddaughter has attended your school since kindergarten, and every day she attends, she and I talk about her day at Kellogg. I'm impressed with Kellogg because what's important to me is she likes Kellogg and what it has to offer to her. I admire the fact that Kellogg supports the love and the importance of reading and understanding what you're reading. I believe that this particular part of any child's scholastic abilities are proven through their learning and understanding how to read as soon as they are able. My granddaughter have her own personal libraries in her home and mine. She would rather I buy her a book than any of the frivolous items most children would rather have. She's a member of a book club for children, and to see her go through the catalog and pick her books is like watching a child turned loose in a toy store. Mention the word "Borders" and you will have a hard time getting out of not taking her. If there are no books to read, there isn't anything to learn. and if there's no learning, how will you understand? She have access to computers in her home and mine to assist her in any area of academic learning. I commend your school and would recommend it to any parent that wants a thorough primary experience for their child(ren).
