Sawyer Elementary School Reviews
I am a parent of a Sawyer Elementary student, the school is an awesome school and the teachers are so amazing with the students. By only problem is now the the Cps redid the boundaries of the school my son can no longer attend the school. He now has to be transfered to a school that is not academically challenging for him. I only found this information out when trying to register my daughter for kindergarten. My son has been there since Kinder and will be entering the fifth grade. He's made his friends in that school, he feels comfortable being able to go to his teachers i f a problem occurs. They say they're over populated ,but yet the teachers and workers have their children enrolled there. It's not fair to the students that belong to that community. Our children who belonged there at the beginning of the school year can no longer attend Sawyer, but the staffs children can. Please explain this to me. My child is a straight a and b student, is always on time never late and never absent. So why can he not continue to attend this school as well as his sibling? All because we live on the opposite side of the street? This makes no sense.
