St John De La Salle Catholic Academy Of Fine Arts Reviews
St. John is an excellent school that covers the basic subjects and those that aren't basic, like the oratory contests, which allowed the students to express their feelings by original poems or original works to an an audience. I loved the fact that all the students had to participate, from preschool to 8th grade. This gives even the shyest child the opportunity to overcome his shyness by 8th grade. They always had an excellent choir who went to sing at different parts of the city. Of course there was the spelling bee and science fairs each year and book reports. At one time for every 5 book reports, completed, the student would receive a personal pizza from Pizza Hut. That was very exciting and would push the child to read more.
Though most of my grandson's teachers are no longer there, I am glad we picked St. John for him to attend kindergarten in 1998.
