Vanessa: I would have to disagree with some of the reviews.
If you didnt go to Steinmetz then please dont start writing reviews if you dont know what really goes on inside. I recently graduated from Steinmetz this yr 2010. And this high school helped me towards my future. Im ready for college and i thank the teachers who helped me so much. In my opinion since i went there, there is teachers who do care about you and they will do anything to help us. And yes there are teachers who dont show they are interested. Before i went to this school i've heard so many rumors about Steinmetz being such a bad school but no is not. There are many smart students and i believe were in the newsweek for best high school. If you dont want your kid in Steinmetz thats your opinion if you went through a bad experience in the school but please dont say its a horrible school if you havent went to Steinmetz. If you cant say nothing nice, dont say nothing at all.I love Steinmetz and i will truly miss everyone the staff and teachers. I will come visit soon.:)

Steinmetz is a good school with a lot of good teachers. its easy to say that its a bad school but its not. their is just a lot of teen drama that goes around each time. Steinmetz offers lots of good programs like MYP, IB diploma program which is well known around the world!, the ROTC program, and AP courses. if you have a smart kid that is in a regulars program and he/she says its a horrible tell him/her to stop being lazy and take one of the wonderful programs that Steinmetz offers. in these programs they are filled with wonderful students that care about each other and work together to be successful. and their ARE GOOD TEACHERS AT THIS SCHOOL.

Terrible school. One of my siblings goes there and it's a disaster. The teachers dont care and the kids actually harass the teachers AND my sibling,nobody does anything about it because they fear the people that are harassing them... DO NOT send your kids to this school,the only school Ive personally seen thats worse than this one is Wells.

This is a horrible school. If you don't have a choice but to send your child here then.....make sure it is short term. Now there are some of the staff that are very professional and very nice. But there are the majority that are rude and very lazy!!! Students there are very disrespectful and some of the teachers there place all the students in one category, meaning my daughter was new the 2 semester and came from a private school. She has come from very strict up bringing and the teacher places her in a category of all the bad students and she isn't. She only came to stenimetz because of the other school's tuition was expensive and she need to be in some type of school. Steinmetz was in our district and my child has been unhappy since she has been at this school. She will not return to this school in her sophomore year. This is not a good school. Try to search other schools for your children !!!! HORRIBLE SCHOOL!!! They have a few teachers at this school that don't care about the kids or their education.

I THINK STEINMETZ IS A GREAT SCHOOL AND HAS ALOT OF THINGS GOING HEADED FOR THE FUTURE.
