Our Lady of Peace School

My children have attended OLP for over 10 yrs.  The teachers are GREAT!  The biggest problem with the school are the parents.  The parents are overbearing, self-serving and cliquish.  The athletic program should be a eliminated.  It is parent coached.  Game starts and playing time are at the coaches discretion and not based on ability.  This method is harmful to the child's self-esteem as an athletic.  It also opens the door for bullying and teasing by the coaches children and the other children who start.  Grade school athletics should be fun and a learning experience's not added classroom stress.  The teachers need to take control over extra classroom activities, field trips & parties, instead of the room moms.  It's another source of parent bullying and is passed on to the children.  I would gladly pay more in tuition to get the parents out and let all the children learn to experience life without Mom & Dad hovering over.  I
