They don't take into consideration childrens' homeworks and tests based on materials covered in classrooms. They take only into consideration the scores chilren receive on state's testings. And at their conferences that's what they are going to base on your child--only these tests. That means that your child is never going to be good enough until she/he scores the highest grades on these state's tests. Instead of buiding children's self-esteem, they are creating children that are never good enough.
And if your child scores well on the tests that cover materials covered in their classroom, that isn't enough unless they do well on state's testing. And if they do well their homeworks, they won't count unless your child does well on the state's testing. You get an idea of what you will hear.
They have in this school a serious problem like bullying, but they will only concentrate on the state's tests to receive more funds? But I don't see where these funds are allocated. I asked the principal to provide where the money goes from collecting $ from different fundraisers, but I haven't received any answer to that. I don't see where the money goes for these children. And no changes are being made for the better. [Inappropriate content removed by Education.com staff].
