Harriet Gifford Elementary School

This school seems to be working so hard to make AYP that the kids who are already meeting or exceeding state standards appear to be overlooked. Plus, my children -- who are usually easy to please --didn't warm up to any of the adults there. No connections were made and the kids viewed the school rather blandly. Though it was a huge financial commitment, after a brief time at Gifford, we moved our children to a parochial and saw much better growth and enjoyment of learning.
