I am at palatine high school as a student know. In the one that our school is horrible is wrong. Yeah we do have people that do drugs but if they get caught they get punish. Palatine H.S has been working hard to improve the school. We have some "bad" kids but are test results are great. The teachers are their at the school and will help you if you are in need of help. The teachers are like parents away from home. They help you with homework, they help you if you are feeling horrible. Each Student has counselor and they are to help you with class and with any other problem you have. If you have problems at home they will help you. If you have a problem with a bully Palatine is taking this really seriously now if you report that their is someone bullying you that person will get into trouble, I'm not talking about that they will just get detentions, they will get suspended. Palatine is a great school and their is other school like it and I will never pick a different school to go to.

Kelly: PHS was a wonderful school. I personally believe that the diversity doesn't really impact the quality, as a previous reviewer implied. But anyways, it is very easy to get involved, and the teachers are all willing to go the extra mile for students. A good majority of the student body are spirited and involved in their school. The building is also one of the most handicapped accesible in the district and they have a great special education program. My only qualm with the school was their lax punishments regarding cheating (eg. cheating on a final exam, stealing papers, etc.) and illegal substances. All in all though, an excellent school!

Palatine is one of the worst schools ever. to many races and just not a good school. they say they are a drug free school a ton of kids sell marajuna. HORRIBLE SCHOOL..!!!!!!
