Illinois School
I think Illinois school strives to be a gem in the suburbs. For me it has been extremely convenient with the bus service and paying for food service on line. They seem to have fairly good parental involvement and the teachers seem to be pro-active and motivated. I would like to see them do more for gifted primary students but for the most part I do like the school so far. The principals of the school are present and approachable and I feel that is important as well. I have never heard any of the teachers talk down to the kids but I am not there everyday. My daughter has not had any negative experiences so far. They seem to do well on the discipline and they teach school pride. They are really trying to do well. If they tested their students in and became a Magnet school, Illinois would be awesome. At any rate, so far so good for me. I would reccommend the school to other parents.
