When I  entered your school I was very appalled. The hallways were filthy and there was blood in the stair ways .I also had seen electrical wires running into air vents  this was on the first days of school of 08-09. The school also had an odor about it . I have since heard that it has been painted . Im very appreciative about that it makes it easier to bring others to games without being ashamed of the school.

We moved here from St. Louis, and our 13 year old started about 2 monthes before the end of 7th grade.  He was used to a more county type of school, and this school was a little rough for him.  He was picked on alot the first week.  He still gets picked on, but I have to say the counselor and teachers knew we were concerned, and they all met with us to talk about it, and I'm convinced that the teachers really do care about their students.  Their concern made it much easier on my son to continue the rest of the year there.

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
