Alexander Graham Bell Montessori School Reviews
So many other great options in the area
I pulled my child out at the end of the school year last year as many families did. We all went to other Montessori schools in the neighborhood. My child goes to school with many of their friends from AGBMS. There were SO many changes especially with the staff (these might have been financial decisions as most of these staff members were not replaced). All of these changes started happening when new management took over 2 years and these changes did not enhance the learning environment for my child. It made the environment feel very scary and upsetting to my child. We miss the old AGBMS...it was a warm and friendly experience. But, many of the families who left AGBMS this year have followed us to our Montessori school. It just goes to show you that school is not the building but rather the community of children and families within it.
My daughter was enrolled in this school but because of the changes the school has gone through we finally found another Montessori school where we could take her and she is flourishing now! As management changed and the staff that she loved started leaving, she started to dread going to school. Its a beautiful building but the management is clueless and it seems that they are having money issues. We wondered if they would be in business next year. Lots of other great schools in the area to choose from but until this school changes how its run, I wouldn't send my child back for sure.
It is a wonderful school and they provide so much for my kids. I love it her and know that my kids are getting a great education
