About This School
Magnet schools are public schools that offer a specialized curriculum or educational philosophy, often with a specific focus or theme. Key Learning Community School Reviews
Today 8/8/11, was my daughter's first day of first grade. She is a car rider and on the paper I was told to pick her up no later than 4:05. She did not get released until 4:30 and I had to go in the school to see what was going on. My complaint is that if the paper says to pick her up at 4:05, why did she not get released until 4:30? I need to know exactly what time my daughter will actually be released to us as she is a car rider.
I love this school they have a committed staff and they really work hard with what they have been provided and i can assure you that if parents took the time to come to their children's classrooms their would not be a discipline problem, don't blame the teachers blame the parents.
The Key Learning community lacks a real grading system, a quality learning environment, and discipline in the classroom. It has lost its way and gotten away from the principles on which is was founded.
