Nicky Kelso: Today 8/8/11, was my daughter's first day of first grade. She is a car rider and on the paper I was told to pick her up no later than 4:05. She did not get released until 4:30 and I had to go in the school to see what was going on. My complaint is that if the paper says to pick her up at 4:05, why did she not get released until 4:30? I need to know exactly what time my daughter will actually be released to us as she is a car rider.

Key Learning Community School
charmaine bellamy: I love this school they have a committed staff and they really work hard with what they have been provided and i can assure you that if parents took the time to come to their children's classrooms their would not be a discipline problem, don't blame the teachers blame the parents.

About the ISTEP
What is it?
The The Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 10 are assessed in English/language arts and math and in grades 5 and 7 in science.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of three levels:"did not pass", "pass", or "pass+". The goal is for all students to score at or above the "pass" level. Students must pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ in order to graduate from high school.

What is it?
The ISTEP+ End-of-Course Assessments (ECAs) are criterion-referenced assessments used to measure a student's mastery of the state's academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in Algebra I, Biology I, or English 10 at the end of each course.
How is it Scored?
The End-of-Course Assessments are scored as did not pass or pass and the state's goal is for all students to pass the test.

What is it?
The SAT Reasoning Test is a voluntary college admissions test used to assess critical thinking skills and student ability to analyze and solve problems.
Which Grades and Subjects?
The SAT Reasoning Test assesses high school students in three sections: math, critical reading, and writing. The scores reported are for 12th grade students who have taken the test in grades 11 or 12.
How is it Scored?
Students receive a score from 600 to 2400 by combining the test results from the three 800-point sections.
