New Augusta South is a Five Star School. I am very pleased with the level of education they have set in place for our children. The principal, vice principal and teachers care about the children and communicate with me very well. I am very pleased with the choice that I made for a better education for my children

What is it?
The The Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 10 are assessed in English/language arts and math and in grades 5 and 7 in science.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of three levels:"did not pass", "pass", or "pass+". The goal is for all students to score at or above the "pass" level. Students must pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ in order to graduate from high school.
