The Phoenix Montessori School
5We have two children, both of whom attended The Phoenix Montessori School. It was a wonderful experience! My children loved going to school there and still today, at ages 7 and 9, they ask me when they can go back to visit their teachers. They are both excellent students in their current school and I attribute at least part of that to the excellent academic foundation they formed at Phoenix Montessori.

5Superior education. I can't say enough about this family-focused, authentic Montessori school. As a stay-at-home mom, I wasn't looking for daycare, but a pre-elementary education. After extensive research, I was lucky to find Mrs. Blackford. She is one of a kind, with unparalleled caring and devotion to her students and families. After all her years of teaching, she still gets excited at every little discovery. The children work at their own pace and are highly motivated. When you walk in the door, you'll find calm, happy, busy children of various ages working along side one another. My first child graduated at five years, reading and comprehending at an upper elementary level, mastering multiplication/division, and skipped a grade. My second child is wrapping up her kindergarten year and we'll be heartbroken to leave.

5Kate Pearson: Once you step thru the doors and meet Mrs. Blackford (Alice) you know you have found the right place!
3 of my 4 children attended the school Ms. Casey left - I have had students there for over 10 years and it’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience for them. you will be hard pressed to offer comparable, exceptional nurturing and the education that my children have received from a very experienced teacher elsewhere.

1There are far better options located in this area, as this school is not worth the hassle. Our family had a horrible experience with a drastic change in the curriculum, teaching style, and the school administration after our child's original teacher departed the school. We had no choice but to pull our child and look for another Montessori school. Also, if you are placed in the second classroom, it is located in a dingy, dank basement...
