Mrs McWilliams: My son has just started 3rd grade this year and has been going to Millbrooke since first grade. We are military and my son LOVES this school! They have a "support" group for military children so they can connect and talk about deployments and the unique things children go through as military dependants and its fun for them.
We chose this school district before we moved here just because i found so many good things written about this school and i am 100% greatful my son goes to this school.
The teachers are very nice, always willing to listen, talk or meet with you should you need it.They highley encourage parent involvment.
My son is advanced for his age and has been since before he started this school and they have done a good job of keeping is grades high and him engaged in his school work.He will be testing this year for gifted and talented and know his teachers are going to keep him progressing so he will pass these tests.
The only thing i think is a little strange is the children dont bring their AR books home to read but they do read them at school in their own ability groups i'd just like to be able to see my childs reading progress faster by reading more at home as well.
All in all Great school and im please all 3 of my children shall be attending once they are old enough
GO CARDINALS!!
