About This School
Alternative schools are public schools that offer nontraditional education for students whose needs cannot be met in a regular, special education, or vocational school. While alternative schools are distinct from regular, special education, and vocational schools in their teaching approach or classroom environment, they can provide similar services and/or curriculum for students. Alternative schools include schools for potential dropouts, residential treatment centers for substance abuse, schools for chronic truants, and schools for students with behavioral problems. See Maryhurst Alternative School's test results to learn more about school performance.

Maryhurst Alternative School Reviews
Life changing. My daughter attended as a girl (actually lived there until 18). I believe that her stay there saved her life.
Her workers and I waited an agonizing two years before she was old enough to be accepted. I would use my name but I won't talk about my daughter without her permission. Now, my family needs
Maryhurst again. A young girl, my granddaughter, has
been failed by the mainstream educational processes.
At age 111/2 she can not read, write and is delayed in many ways. There is a beautiful young woman waiting
to blossom underneath the mask of indifference
she is starting to wear. I know Maryhurst can work miracles because I have seen you already work them.
Maryhurst is a Great School!
I would reccomend it to anyone thinking of attending or parent thinking of putting their child there.
Their teaching methods are individualy based for success.
