We are an alternative education program for Letcher County Schools. in the Letcher County Area Technology Center. We have students from the forth grade through high school. Our school has been developed to address the growing need of assisting those students who cound not function in a traditional instructional setting. Also, we work with at risk students of dropping out of school and help them become successful production individuals. One of our goals is to work on a students behavior problems and get them the help they need to suceed in society. Our goal as a school is to prevent further delingquent acting out behaviors, improve individual and family functioning, build self esteem, and offer high level counseling daily. Our students are encourgaged to acuire vocational skills, and skills necessary for social and educational success at the regular school, or job market.
