Bolton High School Reviews
Bolton is a great place to be. In the three years that I have been there, many improvements have been made both academically and in athletics. Our ACT scores continue to be the highest in the parish, and enrollment has jumped every year starting my freshman year. Bolton provides more academic opportunities and help than any other school, not to mention the digital academy - each student receives a laptop to keep for the school year. We have an extremely successful debate team, and a continuously building theatre program. I think that Bolton High School is definitely the best high school in this area for a student looking to both attend AND succeed in higher level education.
Bolton is an AWESOME school. The only thing that we are working hard towards are our athletics, football team to be specific. But we are the best school in education. The teachers are always willing to help the students. But at other schools like ASH, Alexandria Senior High, some teachers don't even teach and are very bad influences on the students. Also at Bolton no matter what the students will always be supported to do their best. Our ACT scores were the best in the Rapides parish for 7 consecutive years, 2008-2009 had the highest out of the 7 years the scores were averaged to a good 23.2 out of about 30. But this year it would be much higher because of all the well taught students.
It is nice and fun to be at. Love the teachers they are nice and they will work with you on anything you need help on.
