The integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in math and English language arts. In grades 3, 5, 6 and 7 students are assessed in science and social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of five levels: advanced, mastery, basic, approaching basic and unsatisfactory. The goal is for all students to score at or above the basic level.

The school is excellent. My son has gone from being in a resource class in another parish to and A/B student without resource. The teachers are dedicated. Tne principal truly cares about the students. They have tons of extracurricular activities and programs that inspire the students.

Jefferson Terrace Elementary School
Jennifer: I love this school! My oldest received a great education from here that has prepared her well for middle school. My two youngest are still at the school and receive support from all the teachers and staff. The principal leads the school in making sure that her kids are receiving the best and giving their best!
