Southern University Lab School

chris thierry: Southern Lab. was the best school that I could've ever attended.  I attended puplic schools in the Baton Rouge area from head start til the 9th grade.  After transfering to the Lab in my tenth grade year, I immediately learned how good it was to be black.  Not to be racial, but in the public school sector, it was a lot about us that I was not being taught.  I also gain the respect that we, people of color, were just as bright as any person in our area.  Southern Lab. gave me confidence to go out into the world and reach for my goals and be proud of being black.
