About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Delhi Charter School's test results to learn more about school performance.
In 2011, Delhi Charter School had 17 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The Louisiana average is 14 students per full-time equivalent teacher.

Delhi Charter School Reviews
I am a retired teacher that enjoys filling in for teachers that must be absent from their classes. Some things I have observed while being at Delhi Charter is the school pride shown by faculty and students, parental inviolvement that is essential for a successful school, and the compassion and comraderie that exists among the student body. Perhaps the most impressive thing to me is the focus that parents, faculty, and administration have on the absolute BEST quality of education for their students. I feel there is much promise for this school system as the years progress!
