Stacey Hager: I work at the best school in Jefferson Parish.  I enjoy teaching the students here.  I wake up excited each morning ready to come to school and teach my students.

This has been a failing school for many years.  Poor discipline is one of its number one problems.  Despite the many extra programs implemented in the school, it continues to be one of the poorest performing schools in the parish.  The school should be revamped with all new faculty and administration.  A large majority of the students fail the LEAP each year.  Maybe this school should be dismantled and the students should be sent to other schools with more role models.  Something has to be done soon.

I believe Mrs. Frickey, a first grade teacher at Woodmere Elementary, is very good with her teaching methods and has helped my daugther significally with reading. She takes time with her students and shows each fairness. My other daugther begins at Woodmere this year and I will be requesting that my other daugther be placed in Mrs. Frickey's class.
