Lisa Duplantis: I'm very pleased with East Houma Elementary. I had my son there his first year of school for pre-k. Then I decided to move him to a private catholic school. I moved him because my little girl was at another private catholic school.My son was very happy in pre-k. Then I moved him to this private school where the teacher had no patience for a child that had adhd . It was like my son was always in trouble, even when he moved in his seat. Then I tried another catholic school , and that didn't last long. So I went back to East Houma Elementary. It was the best thing I have ever done for my son. He has a wonderful Teacher who actually treats him like a person . He has learned how to read. He is really excited about going to school. Everyone knows him and treats him with love . I think that East Houma Elementary school is the best. I'm really blessed that my son attends this school. He wanted to learn ,but at the private school she didn't have time for kids like him. At East Houma they make time for your child to learn.
