A.C. Alexander Elementary School Reviews
Some Teachers don"t care and Principal makes excuses for the teachers
This is my children first year at this school and I'm not happy with the academics at all. My child was having difficulty in one of her classes and when I tried to make an appointment she was never able to meet. After trying several times I made an appointment with the principal and the only thing she did was make an excuses for teacher. It seems to me the teacher is there for a paycheck and principal doesn't care if a student is having difficulty in class. My children will be returning back to northshore and my house will be going up for sell. Jefferson Parish Schools needs a lot of attention!
The teachers seem to have a negative attitude when parents are concern about their children education. I was hoping the reviews that was written about this school teachers/principal were a misunderstanding; believe me it is not. This is my grandchildren first year at this school. Their mother have experience negative feedback from teachers. The school system stress the importance of parents involvement.Well it is time the AC. Alexander school to show a positive relationship with parents. I am hopeful the Jefferson Parish School Board will address this issue before Legal Assistance become involves. It a shame that parents has to deal with teachers with bad attitudes. If you are a teacher that hate your job, leave it now! My grandchildren Parents only want to help their children . Great teachers welcome parents' concerns. Our family believed in Education. We have encountered many Awesome teachers. We support our children school! We just want this school's teachers/principal to show respect to parents and students. Teachers and Parents working together get the BEST OUTCOMES!
The best school
this school is the best out of all the schools i went to and it will be best for your child to go there!! I went there from pr-k to 5th grade
Teachers have very poor communication skills with parents. You are often in the dark on what's going on in class. They send last minute notices of things that need to be brought into class, often the night before. many details are left out. Not welcoming to parent participation.
