Archbishop Shaw High School Reviews
A Great High School for Boys
Archbishop Shaw is a fabulous school. The teachers really help the students recognize their inner worth and dignity as children of God and develop their own unique gifts and skills. A+++ institution!
Terrific and Exceptional
I'm not sure what exactly made the reviewing parent next to me so sour. I had a wonderful experience at Shaw. I graduated in 2007 and since then I am a third year law student, married and a father of a beautiful baby girl, with another little one on the way. In fact, all of the men in my family graduated from Shaw and we are all very happy, successful people, and Shaw had a big hand in that in forming us at such a crucial point in our lives. As far as athletics are concerned, I was a textbook definition of a band nerd and not once felt that I was any less important or treated badly. Shaw is a brotherhood of men and a shining light on the Westbank. If God blesses me with sons, I would love to send them to Shaw.
This school is full of bullies and teachers that show movies all the time. Academics comes after sports and there are more coaches on staff than non-coaches. Cross the river to another Catholic school. It is worth the drive.
