The integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in math and English language arts. In grades 3, 5, 6 and 7 students are assessed in science and social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of five levels: advanced, mastery, basic, approaching basic and unsatisfactory. The goal is for all students to score at or above the basic level.
