The integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in math and English language arts. In grades 3, 5, 6 and 7 students are assessed in science and social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of five levels: advanced, mastery, basic, approaching basic and unsatisfactory. The goal is for all students to score at or above the basic level.

Heather: This is the fourth elementary school my daughter has attended, and the first one to view her as gifted rather than simply "difficult." I have seen such a difference in her because of the wonderful, understanding staff. Everyone at the school is extremely caring and involved. I am absolutely amazed. Unfortunately, we plan on moving out of state this summer, and none of the school's I've researched meet my expectations after sending my daughter here.

J.S. Clark Elementary School
Very good school to go to. I went to this school and the test scores do not lie, the environment in the classrooms is very condusive toward learning and creativity. Even though the test scores are still good, they have slipped slightly since I went there. All my friends that attended J.S. Clark and I all grew up to do very well in school. We grew apart a little, but we are all in college now and succeeding. Children learn the basic tools of taking their education serious and excelling in the classroom.
