The integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in math and English language arts. In grades 3, 5, 6 and 7 students are assessed in science and social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of five levels: advanced, mastery, basic, approaching basic and unsatisfactory. The goal is for all students to score at or above the basic level.

Courtney Hollis: A.C. Steere Elementary school is a wonderful learning environment for children. They create a fun and well rounded curriculum that allows each child to reach their potential and more. My son has attneded this school since kindergarten and now going into 4th grade. My daughter also goes to this school and they love it. His confidence in reading and science have excelled. Thank you to all the staff.
