dreraven52: i went for an iep meeting with staff and the "acting" principal. all but one of the staff were late to the meeting. they all looked liked they just rolled out of bed and went to work. i was able to walk right into the front door of the school with no resistance. during the meeting, the principal just got up and left. she didnt say nice to meet you, goodbye, nothing. she just got up and left. the school is dirty and dark, meaning very little light at all. as i was leaving, there was an unsupervised child rolling around on the floor, out in the hall. not an adult in sight. there were chairs knocked over and lying on the floor in one classroom. during the meeting one of them tried to tell me that their assesments are more thorough than the KENNEDY KRIEGER INSTITUTE! this school is gross, the staff are gross, the security, or lack there of, is atrocious, alarming actally. these are the main things you want to be comfortable with when you send your kids to school...
