About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Coppin Academy's test results to learn more about school performance.

Coppin Academy Reviews
This school has no hot lunches, little to no field trips, favortism of students and some teachers don't even teach they just sit on there butt's saying "time for book work" without instruction. Another problem there is no nurse or health suit or there own gym and all the text books are beat up. Over all this school needs to do a lot better.(Edited by Education.com staff)
Coppin Academy is one of the best schools out there. At first I wasn't sure how I wasgoing to like going there but afta my freshman year I really thought this was the school for me. If your child wants an education or wants to succed in life then enroll them here, but if your child is one of those trouble maker please don't bring your child here unless they want to do better and become a better person. Everyone at this school is like on big family so we help eachother out through everything. Im Kassie and I'm glad to be a Coppin Academy High School Scholar class of 2014 !
This is one of the BEST school that could have ever came to Baltimore City. The teachers are there to help all their student. No teacher at this school want to see a child fail or left behind. The Principal Mr.Carey is one of the best. He helped me get in to this school even when i wasn't doin my best, when i was failin every single class. And i love that this teacher and the principal care enough to want to help and make sure you get on the write path to learnig. If any Person have a problem with thier childs school and you want them at a great school that cares send them here or at least try your best because this is the place to be.
