The Catholic High School Of Baltimore Reviews
I am a graduate from this school , and I must say I dreaded going to school every day of my life. I honestly regret going to high school there, I wish I would have went somewhere else. Going to that school made me develop a form of depression, and sometimes I had thoughts of committing suicide, so my family had to set me up with a psychiatrist. Sure they have counselors there, but when I tried talking to a counselor there, I would get yelled and screamed at. Even the counselors can't help you there because all the faculty and administrators are "Always Right", even with the parents. I don't know how many times I had valid points when I got in "trouble" for the most ridiculous things. Oh not to mention they play favoritism. That's why if you go on the website and look at the photographs that "One of the teachers" takes its mostly only "National Honor Society" students. With how little of students go to the school, you would think that they would show everyone who goes to the school. The art/music program is completely terrible, you should see some of the instruments or art "supplies" not to mention that you have to buy yourself. High School is supposed to be the best years of you're life, but honestly they were the worst years of mine. I regret so much going to "The Catholic High School of Baltimore". If i could change where I went to high school I would in a heart beat. The tuition isn't worth it at all. Not to mention there is not fields of any sort, the back of the school is complete garbage, not to mention students are locked up in a school for 8hours straight with no fresh air what so ever. Not to mention you only take Gym One year, not all four years like most high schools. Only one year. That is just completely unhealthy especially if the students aren't aloud outside. Not to mention there is absolutely NO freedom what so ever. It's like joining the military they treat you like a robot, and they expect you to be a robot. "Spirit Week" Is supposed to be a fun time for the students.. Not at the Catholic High School of Baltimore.. nope. You have to wear your skirt , and make a regular t-shirt and that's it. There is no themes for spirit week, or anything fun going on. Also they accept almost anyone, I mean I got a 10% on my going into high school test, and I still got in. That's a prime example of how they only want money from the students and could care less about the academic status of the students. I really hope that this review will help change your mind for putting you're child through what I had to go to. I hope you make the right choice, and I hope that this review helped, I also hope that everyone see's this review.
Very expensive.. the staff does not support the girls who may need a little more assitance with work.
Horrible school don't fall into the hype.all they care about is money
The Catholic High School of Baltimore is a wonderful school. It is a small school, so it allows your child to receive individualized attention. The tuition rate is affordable and tuition does not increase frequently. I would definitely recommend this school!
